The learning objectives of this learning activity are:
1. Understand the definitions of adverse childhood experiences and trauma and how they impact the patients we work with.
2. Learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of ACEs and trauma in their patients.
3. Review elements of a trauma-informed approach and how to implement these approaches into daily clinical practice.
